Great wall venues 1

This part of the Great wall is only 55km away from the city. The first part of the wall here was built during the Spring and Autumn Period (770-476 BC) though it wasn’t until the Southern and Northern Period (386-589 AD) that they were linked to the Great Wall. The present fortifications date back to the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) though the marble “Cloud Platform”, with carved pictures lining the doorway, was constructed during the Yuan Dynasty (1271-1368). This mighty fortress has been the site of many battles, from ancient times right up to the Second World War against the Japanese!

Capacity: this part offers different venues (platforms and traditional courtyard) which can accommodate from 5 to 500 people.
